The Durham Sports Commission is proud to host the 69th Annual NAIA Football National Championship on Saturday, December 21 at noon eastern time. For the fourth consecutive year, the game will be played at Durham County Memorial Stadium.

Competing Teams

Keiser University

Keiser’s football team will be returning to Durham for the third consecutive season! After falling in their first NAIA Football Championship performance in 2022, the Seahawks returned to Durham and defeated Northwestern in the rematch in 2023. This season, Keiser rode the momentum of the school’s first championship to an undefeated 2024 regular season. After being down in the semifinals 38-21 with eight minutes remaining, the Seahawks made a miraculous comeback to win 42-38.

Grand View University

Grand View University returns to the NAIA Football Championship for the first time since 2021. This will be the program’s third NAIA Championship game appearance, most notably winning the title in 2013. Grand View used convincing wins over former NAIA champions Northwestern and Morningside to earn their return to Durham with a perfect 13-0 season.

  • 8 am – Box Office Opens
  • 8:30 am – Gates and Parking** Open
  • 10:30 am – Field Opens for Pre-Game Warm-Up
  • 12 pm – Kick Off

**Parking is $10 and cashless.

Durham County Memorial Stadium

Durham County Memorial Stadium is proud to be the host site for the NAIA Football National Championship. Originally built in 1958 and renovated in 2010, the 8,500 seat historic stadium has been home to a multitude of competitions and championships throughout the years.
