The Durham Sports Commission is proud to host the 68th Annual NAIA Football Championship. For the third consecutive year, the game will be played at Durham County Memorial Stadium on Monday, December 18 at noon eastern time.

About the NAIA

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, and is made up of over 250 member institutions across 21 different conferences. The goal of the NAIA is to serve the interests of small colleges by driving student-athlete enrollment and financial sustainability.

We are excited to welcome the players, coaches and fans from Keiser (Florida) and Northwestern (Iowa) back to Durham!

Following their respective semifinal victories, Keiser and Northwestern are set to face off in a rematch of last year’s thrilling championship game.

Durham County Memorial Stadium

Durham County Memorial Stadium is proud to be the host site for the NAIA Football National Championship. Originally built in 1958 and renovated in 2010, the 8,500 seat historic stadium has been home to a multitude of competitions and championships throughout the years.

  • Gates open at 9 a.m.
  • Parking is $10 (Cash only)
  • Tickets are required for all guests age three (3) and older. Tickets are not required for children two (2) and under who sit on a parent/guardian’s lap

The vision of the DSC is to engage the Durham community in supporting and promoting the sports spirit that exists both historically and presently, by increasing the capacity of local sporting events to host events with strong participation rates, and by working with national event owners to recruit sporting events that provide positive community impact.
