Sport: Kickball

C.M. Herndon Park park is 25.18 acres, is managed by Durham Parks and Recreation and is one of Durham’s facilities perfect for sports tourism. With two turf fields, including one championship field, Herndon Park can host a variety of events! From soccer or flag football to kickball and quidditch, we’re excited to explore the possibilities with you.

  1. Two turf fields (one Championship Field and one Multipurpose Field)
    • Championship Field (360 feet by 225 feet): The C.M. Herndon Park Championship Soccer Field is a turf field available for use every single day of the year! The field is lined for both soccer and flag football and has field lights. The field is also surrounded by a fence and includes player benches and soccer goals.
    • Multipurpose field (222 feet by 145 feet)

Rock Quarry Park is managed by Durham Parks and Recreation and is one of Durham’s facilities perfect for tournament style tennis. It spans over 46 acres and is home to many festivals and events. This park also has a multi-purpose athletic field.
