The Durham Sports Commission was proud to host the 2021 NAIA Football National Championship and Senior Football Classic as well as the inaugural Champion Durham Classic in December.
True to its mission of creating social and economic impact in Durham, the three events were a success. Here are a few quick facts about the events:

- Visitors to Durham for the events traveled from 29 different states. The top five states represented by ticket buyers:
- Iowa — 37.5%
- North Carolina — 12.2%
- Nebraska — 9.4%
- Texas — 4.0%
- Florida — 3.8%

- Total economic impact: $154,559
- Total room nights: 117
